Why We Sandblast

  • Surface Cleanliness: Removes mill scale, rust, old coatings, oil, and contaminants that would otherwise compromise adhesion.
  • Anchor Profile Creation: Creates a uniform surface texture that allows coatings—especially powder and epoxies—to bond mechanically at the microscopic level.
  • Coating Performance: Ensures coatings meet full lifecycle performance expectations, including corrosion resistance, chemical protection, and wear durability.
  • Specification Compliance: Required by most coating manufacturers and specifications (NACE, SSPC, MIL-SPEC) for warranty and performance validation.
  • Visual & Structural Quality: Provides a clean, consistent surface appearance and reveals imperfections (e.g., weld defects, porosity) prior to coating.

Whether you're coating mission-critical oilfield components or large structural frames for data centers, our sandblasting process is engineered to deliver the highest standard of surface preparation — every time.
